Merrimack Crimeline is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the IRS code and is uniquely funded by private donations from concerned citizens, businesses and social organizations. No tax dollars are involved. All contributions are tax-deductible. The program is composed entirely of involved citizens, establishes policy, the amount and method of the reward system and the raising of funds. Crimeline is not a town committee and is not affiliated with the Merrimack Police Department.
The purpose of Crimeline is to provide an avenue for anonymous communication between individuals and the police for reporting information related to crimes that may have been committed in Merrimack. Should that information lead to an arrest or indictment, Merrimack Crimeline will pay up to $1000.00 to the anonymous contact who provided the information.
Donations may be made at any time during the year or at one of our many fundraising events throughout the year. Checks made payable to Merrimack Crimeline may be mailed to our address below.
